Third place is obviously not the outcome we wanted, but it was a much better result than our last tournament. The training camp clearly helped.

Cancer was ranked seven spots higher than Gemini the day of the tournament and as I was already reading a paperback book, all I had to do was include something grey. I believe following that morning's guidance contributed to our success. ~~That, and making all of my shots.~~

Current Mood: pleased

As expected, I did well on my exams. That extra studying paid off. It will be nice not to carry around those bonus materials for awhile.

I got in a few hours practice before the rest of the team arrived. There is something about the sanctity of a gym when the only thing you can hear is the sound of a basketball hitting the court. ~~Nothing but net, every time.~~
