The Winter Festival was interesting, to say the least. I'm not sure who thought of the doctor & nurse café, but it went well.

I went to go see "The Martian" yesterday after a suggestion from my mother. While I prefer finishing the book before going to see the movie adaptation, there just isn't a lot of time to devote to leisure reading lately. I did enjoy the film though. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I do recommend it if you're looking for a more dramatic type of science fiction/action movie.

Ennoshita, would you like to make Saturday our regular shogi meet-up day?

Momoi, how are you doing? I hope you are doing what I suggested.

Oh no, I missed that out? Surely you'd look great in white coat.

I had my doubts, but it was surprisingly enjoyable. NASA's involvement in the movie production might have helped make it more believable, too.

I would love that, Midorima-kun. Please let me to treat you to something, I'm constantly indebted to you.

Oh? I think I had never seen you in one. I'd like to see next time.

It surely is. It feels closer to home when they make it realistic like that.

I'd feel bad. A lunch, at least?

Thank you for your hard work, Midorima-kun! The coat suited you well.

Oh I've seen the trailer of that. Been meaning to watch it but haven't had the chance. I've heard some pretty good things about it though, and seems like you liked it as well.

I haven't tried much science fiction. I usually read horror and mystery. I'll give it a shot the next time I go to the library or a bookstore.

I've been meaning to! Is there any you would recommend?

I'll check that out as well then, thank you.

[personal profile] kmnt02 2016-02-18 03:04 am (UTC)(link)

That was a great read. Do you have any favorite authors?

I think my brother had a book by Murakami Haruki, but I haven't read his or Nakagami Kenji's works. My brother was a more avid reader.
